Last month, the Monday club sat down and planned the activities for the rest of the year. A good mix of activities including cooking, visits to a raised bed garden and talks from health professionals are all on the agenda for the rest of 2014.

The new programme kicked off with a short gentle exercise session with Pam, followed by a quiz, devised by Peter and Sandra. Questions ranging from “Who was the actor that played the first Dr. Who” to “How many children were in the Von Trapp family?” were fired in quick succession to the five teams taking part. The quiz was a great success with the winning team “I Don’t Know” being the victors. All teams were presented with a small basket of fruit for their endeavours. A big thank you to Peter and Sandra for their input into the day.
The next meeting is on Monday 19th May where there will be a short cooking demonstration including a soup and 2 Chinese style dishes.
