Boccia and New Age Curling

The group meet every Monday afternoon at the Activity and Resource Centre in Newton Stewart and this continues to be as popular as ever!! Members of the local community join in and the session is co-ordinated by an experienced BHC volunteer.

Welcome to the Building Healthy Communities Machars Blogpage.

Building Healthy Communities in the Machars is part of a region wide programme and is a partnership of public, community and voluntary organisations that meet and work together in the Machars.

As part of the BHC programme, we work with local people, agencies and community groups to improve community resilience. We establish and deliver a range of health and wellbeing interventions, help people develop new skills, increase their knowledge and encourage and support individuals to become volunteers.
