Jills in the Community

The Jills have this week been making new bits of fencing for the garden in Whithorn. This involved cutting pieces of wood to length and shape using the appropriate power tools.

These Bits of fencing will be used to fill the gap and complete the task.

Well done to all Jills.

Building Healthy Communities in the Machars is part of a region wide programme and is a partnership of public, community and voluntary organisations that meet and work together in the Machars.

As part of the BHC programme, we work with local people, agencies and community groups to improve community resilience. Taking a community development approach, the partnership will empower volunteers & the wider community to improve their own health & social wellbeing.

Its our community; lets come together and work in partnership to build a safer, happier, healthier environment.
