The Jills of all Trades continued their work in the community with a visit to a home in Palnure to help spruce up a service user's Kitchen. The work involved sanding door frames and windows, filling holes in walls, undercoating and glossing the wooden surfaces and loft hatch as well as emulsioning the walls.
Over two days, the kitchen was transformed!
The service user said afterwards:
"The experience was much less painful than I imagined. Very pleasant to meet new people. It is so nice to see my kitchen clean and tidy and freshly decorated."
Big Thank You to volunteers Claire, James and Mary for their efforts over the 2 days.
