We have recently been awarded a defibrillator for the town by the British Heart Foundation. The defibrillator will be kept outside the County Buildings and will be accessible to everyone. This means if there is an emergency and immediate life support is required, the defibrillator will be available to use for anyone who needs it. This is a real asset for us here in Wigtown, especially due to our rural location. Every second counts when a person suffers a heart attack and the quicker help is available the better. The more people within the town that have been shown how to use the defibrillator the more of chance we have of saving a life. We are looking for local people to join us for a training session with Dennis McGinn.
All are welcome!
ON TUESDAY 29TH OF APRIL IN THE COUNTY BUILDINGS
7PM – 9PM
