With the final part of the fun size tour 2013 finishing in
Port William last week, Friday was an opportunity to celebrate all the
volunteers input into this successful 5 week programme.
Volunteers received Saltire Awards for their volunteering
input which in total amounted to over 1000 hours across the summer. Well done
to all!!
Many thanks to the funders for their support throughout the
summer, The Holywood Trust, Wigtownshire Health and Wellbeing Partnership,
Sainsburys, Mid Galloway Community Safety Forum and The Machars Lions
Club. Without their financial support, none of this would have been
possible.
