Due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus situation,The Machars Area Partnership for Building Healthy Communities have been advised to cancel all groups until further notice. This has come into effect from this morning. Any group users who want further information please contact 01671 404267.

Welcome to the Building Healthy Communities Machars Blogpage.

Building Healthy Communities in the Machars is part of a region wide programme and is a partnership of public, community and voluntary organisations that meet and work together in the Machars.

As part of the BHC programme, we work with local people, agencies and community groups to improve community resilience. We establish and deliver a range of health and wellbeing interventions, help people develop new skills, increase their knowledge and encourage and support individuals to become volunteers.

Area Partnership Vision

Machars Area Partnership is a community partnership whose aims are to promote health and wellbeing, providing an impact on health & quality of life.
Through joined up working, BHC intends to improve the health and capacity of all the community it serves.

Taking a community development approach, the partnership will empower volunteers & the wider community to improve their own health & social wellbeing.

Its our community; lets come together and work in partnership to build a safer, happier, healthier environment.
