Fruit Pizza - Port William Youth Club

Last week, the younger Youth Group at Port William were given the opportunity to make their own Fruit Pizzas with some really good results. A total of 25 group members enjoyed designing their own pizza and these were taken home with them. Great evening!!

Building Healthy Communities in the Machars is part of a region wide programme and is a partnership of public, community and voluntary organisations that meet and work together in the Machars.

As part of the BHC programme, we work with local people, agencies and community groups to improve community resilience. We establish and deliver a range of health and wellbeing interventions, help people develop new skills, increase their knowledge and encourage and support individuals to become volunteers.

Through joined up working, BHC intends to improve the health and capacity of all the community it serves.

Taking a community development approach, the partnership will empower volunteers & the wider community to improve their own health & social wellbeing.

Its our community; lets come together and work in partnership to build a safer, happier, healthier environment.
