V.O.I.C.E. project

With the V.O.I.C.E. project coming to a close, there has been a plethora of training courses for volunteers in the Machars.

There have been 2 Elementary Food Hygiene courses that have been very well attended. One in February and one in March. A total of 29 volunteers were successfully trained during these 2 courses. These volunteers have come from a variety of organisations across the region which will enhance their opportunities in the future.

A Certificated First Aid course took place on 23rd March in which 8 volunteers were trained and there was a "Resolve" course attended by 5 volunteers which gives them an insight into reading body language and keeping safe in difficult situations, on the 24th March.
