Having secured funding to run a Self Management Programme throughout Dumfries and Galloway for the next 2 years, we are now recruiting for the following positions:

Self Management Programme Workers
(Long Term Conditions, Older People and Carers)
18.5 Hours per Week – Fixed Term until March 2014
Salary: £18,402 - £21,798 pro rata
We are looking to recruit 6 Self Management Programme Workers (Long Term Conditions, Older people and Carers) to work across the region to support and deliver self management activities for individuals and groups. Supported by the Putting You First’s Change Fund each post will be based in one of 6 locations across Dumfries and Galloway: - Dumfries, Annan, Kirkconnel, Castle Douglas, Whithorn and Stranraer. As part of Building Healthy Communities Self Management programme the post holder will promote health and wellbeing through empowerment of individuals and communities, partnership working and outreach via locally led self management initiatives. 


Clerical Officer (Data Entry) Self Management Programme
(Long Term Conditions, Older People and Carers)
Building Healthy Communities
20 Hours per Week – Fixed Term until March 2014
Salary: £14,258 - £17,003 pro rata Band 2
We are looking to recruit a clerical worker to be based in Crichton Hall, Dumfries to support the Self Management Programme (Building Healthy Communities)
